Main component
Foam pump set
Foam pump Foam pump using high-performance gear pump, used to transport foam, gear pump and centrifugal pump, screw pump, spiral rotor pump compared to more suitable for the characteristics of foam liquid.
The use of gear pump advantages
Suitable for any viscosity foam.
It can withstand 10 minutes dry operation without medium.
The use of corrosion-resistant material, excellent anti-corrosion performance.
The rotational speed is low, and the agitation and shear of the foam liquid are small.
The balanced proportional mixing device can be driven by electric motor, hydraulic turbine, diesel engine and other power devices. A combination of motor driven foam pump and water turbine driven foam pump is recommended. The fire water supply will be lost when the water turbine drives the foam pump, and the fire water supply should be increased when selecting the water turbine drive.

Balance valve and proportioner
Balancing valve and proportional mixer are important components of balanced proportional mixing device. The balance valve automatically adjusts the fire water supply pressure and foam liquid supply pressure in real time, so that the internal pressure of the device and the fire pipe network pressure reach a dynamic balance. The proportioner works with the balance valve to ensure an accurate mixing ratio during operation.
Component material
Balance valve, foam pump, proportional mixer can choose tin bronze, stainless steel 304, 316L and other corrosion resistant materials.

Foam liquid storage tank
The storage tank used to store foam liquid is a normal pressure tank, commonly used stainless steel 304 and above materials. The storage tank structure type can be customized according to the actual needs of customers. A balanced proportional mixing unit can use multiple foam tanks. When multiple tanks are used, the storage of foam liquid can be increased in series, or different kinds of foam liquid can be stored in parallel, and different kinds of foam liquid can be selected for fire extinguishing by controlling the valve switch.
Control cabinet
The start and stop of the control equipment can be connected with the user's central control room and fire alarm equipment to achieve remote/automatic control.

Control function
Manual mode: Manually start and stop the main pump group and the standby pump group and the corresponding electric valve. Remote mode: Receive the remote fire alarm signal and automatically start the motor foam pump group. If the main pump group fails, it can automatically switch to start the standby pump group. Remote communication: According to customer requirements can choose the interface mode, passive dry contact and RS485 communication interface, optical fiber interface and other ways to choose, communication protocols MODBUS RTU, Ethernet and so on. Status display: the operation of the main pump group, the operation of the standby pump group, the opening and closing of the liquid inlet valve, the opening and closing of the turbine control valve, etc. Fault alarm: the main pump group is faulty, the main pump group outlet pressure is low, the standby pump group outlet pressure is low, and the foam liquid level is low.
Other: According to specific requirements to increase, change the control function: such as dual power automatic switching, touch display, other control methods.

Working principle
When there is a fire, the fire pump starts to provide fire pressure water, the proportional mixer on the starting device to import electric valve, liquid inlet electric valve, driving machine (electric motor or hydraulic turbine, start the hydraulic turbine to open the electric valve), driving machine to drive the foam pump operation, foam liquid pump to extract the foam liquid and pressurize. Part of the pressurized foam liquid enters the proportional mixer through the orifice plate to mix with the fire pressure water to form the foam mixture, and the other part of the foam liquid returns to the foam liquid storage tank through the balance valve. Through the coordination of balance valve, orifice plate and proportional mixer, the appropriate amount of foam liquid enters the proportional mixer for mixing to ensure accurate mixing ratio.
