Working principle
The low-expansion air foam generator is composed of a generator shell, a jet nozzle, a sealing piece, a deflector plate (a deflector cover, a slow-release cover), etc.
When the foam mixture passes through the jet nozzle of the low expansion air foam generator, negative pressure is formed around the jet, so that the foam mixture is sucked into the air to form air foam.
The air foam is reflected by the deflector plate (deflector cover, slow release cover) to slide down the tank wall, so as to isolate the air and form cover protection.
In order to prevent the harmful and flammable steam in the tank from escaping through the foam pipeline, a sealing plate is installed inside the tank, which can be broken when the foam supply pressure exceeds 0.1~0.3MPa. The seal can be made of glass or metal.
